Le service outillage / modelage :
 

The SMFO team is able to design your forge & foundry tools, according the drawing of your raw and/or machined parts. We can design, create, modified and manufacture all kind of tools. 

For the forge, the tools are made of pre-treated 55CDV7 (127 to 142 Kg) in order to optimize the duration. The tools are made on a 3 axis numeric mills. The typical manufacturing time to produce the tools is 4 to 6 weeks.

For the foundry, the moulds are made of wood and resins, or polystyrene.
The typical lead time for the mould manufacturing is 2 to 3 weeks. More than 7 000 references of tools are held in stocks.

Surface treatment. 

NDE performed by certified COFREND level 2 operators for Radiographic test, Penetrante test and Ultrasonic test.
